Video conferencing

WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT?

You may use the Jagiellonian University video conferencing system to attend remote meetings (including video habilitation) between selected academic centres in Poland and abroad. This eliminates the need for participants of debates and meetings to travel between universities.

In order to secure the connections, the videoconferencing system of the Jagiellonian University takes advantage of the Pionier nationwide academic network

WHERE DO YOU FIND IT?

There are two videoconferencing centres, which can be used by academic staff of the Jagiellonian University:

- ACK Cyfronet (at Nawojki 11, which offers a room enabling up to 12 people to participate in a video conference at the Jagiellonian University;

- Remote Teaching Centre (Rynek 8, on the first floor), where up to 3 people can participate in a video conference from Krakow.

More information about videoconferencing equipment at the Jagiellonian University can be found here.
